Currently, we are looking for a qualified Teacher's assistant (Varhaiskasvatuksen lastenhoitaja)

We are now looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and kind Teacher's assistant (Varhaiskasvatuksen lastenhoitaja) for a permanent full-time position, starting August 1, 2024. Please note: You must hold the ECEC education or have the equivalent qualification recognition by the Finnish National Agency for Education.

Responsibilities within this role.

- Assisting the teachers during lessons and tasks related to the children

- Assisting with day-to-day kindergarten routines

- Kitchen chores, lunch serving, clean up, and preparation of daily snack

- Flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to keep a clean environment

The ideal candidate holds the qualification for early childhood educators § 540/2018 (lastenhoitaja, lähihoitaja). We require experience in this field and a good English language level. We appreciate a positive and flexible person who can easily follow teamwork and takes initiative for individual tasks. Having a hygiene credential and first aid training would be an advantage. The candidate must show us a current criminal clarification as per the § 6.2 act.

Happy Toddlers follows the Private social field collective agreement (TES), for its salary base-line in addition to a small mark-up incentive for staff retention.
